A large rectangular stone trough from Worcestershire raised on two stone blocks. Unearthed in the garden at Lingen Farm, Martley, it would originally have been a feed trough for large farm animals such as cattle or horses. It is extremely heavy but a great planter for a location where there is lots of space available.
NB condition note. There is an old repair to the back wall which has been infilled with two engineering bricks.
18th/19th century.
