An Antique Limestone Trough

An antique limestone trough from Wiltshire with good planting depth and lots of rugged character. As a general rule troughs with regular sawn sides are later while troughs with uneven sides are earlier but it is impossible to know how old a rough hewn trough like this one actually is. It could easily date from medieval times.
