A near pair of antique stone troughs from Worcestershire with original drainage holes through the curved fronts. Old stone troughs were individually carved by hand and it is unusual to find two troughs which are so closely matching that they can be used as a pair. They are typical pump troughs which would once have stood under a well pump and have the added benefit of good internal planting depth.
18th/19th century.
