Rectangular Sandstone Trough

A rectangular sandstone trough on two block supports with drainage through the base. It was originally a feed manger for large farm animals such as heavy horses and has been outside for many years so now has a well established mossy patination. The bases turn this trough into a significant feature which is at a height where the planting can be appreciated.

18th/19th century
