Unusual Stone Trough on Base

An unusually shaped sandstone trough from Worcestershire of rectangular form with both side walls sloping sharply inwards, raised on an associated rough hewn block. The reason why this trough is this shape is unclear but was no doubt made for a specific function. It would suit being planted with trailing flowers.
