Antique Stone Corner Trough

An antique stone corner trough from Herefordshire, asymmetrical in shape with a curved front and finely worked stippled surfaces. It was originally carved to fit a specific corner location and was probably originally a water trough for farm animals. Unfortunately there is a minor crack in the back corner which makes it unsuitable to be re-used as a water trough but it makes a excellent planter with very good planting depth, (internal depth 11").
