Antique Round Stone Trough

A good round stone trough from Herefordshire raised on a smaller round stone wheel. This is an unusually large trough in good condition with plenty of internal depth (8" internal depth). Many round stone troughs are adapted from round millstones, typically cider mill stones with a square hole through the centre, but this appears to have been originally made as a round trough. It could be re-used as a self contained water feature. 

18th or 19th Century.
