Large Bow Fronted Stone Trough

An exceptionally large bow fronted stone trough with an original drainage hole in the middle of the curved front. Bought from a private collection, the origin of this trough is not known but it looks like it is from the West Gloucestershire/South Herefordshire area. It is very uncommon to find a bow fronted stone trough on this scale which hasn't sustained some structural damage over the years. Because of it's size it is ideal for planting with wall climbers such as roses or clematis or could be re-used as part of a large water feature.

We are happy to discuss the practicalities of delivering and siting this trough.

18th / 19th century.
