Antique Stone Trough

A large antique limestone trough from Leicestershire, rectangular in shape and now raised on two low stone blocks. Unusually this trough has two compartments, one rectangular, the other oval and was no doubt made for a specific use, possibly for washing clothes. 

Both compartments now have drainage holes through the base and the trough makes an unusual large garden planter.
