A large antique sandstone trough from near Much Wenlock, Shropshire with chamfered sides and an overflow notch in the centre. This is a large and deep trough which has three modern drainage holes drilled through the base which can be easily stopped up if the trough is used as part of a garden water feature. 

18th Century or earlier.
