Pair Antique Stone Urns

A good pair of portland stone urns, the semi-lobed bowls with plain rims and drainage through the centre of the bowl. These rare, good sized urns were reputedly formerly in the gardens of a villa overlooking the Tamar estuary. Condition note, the socle of one base has a small repair in portland stone which has left one base looking whiter and cleaner than the other but this will be counteracted by the natural effects of weathering.
