Antique Cast-Iron Urn

An antique cast-iron urn with distinctive gothic style decoration and twin dog's head handles. We haven't yet identified the maker of this urn but it is a good quality casting and was probably made by one of the leading foundries such as Handyside of Derby. 

NB condition note: This urn has an old repair to the rim and is in ex-garden condition with distressed grey paint and rust showing in places. 

Late 19th century.
