Large Antique Garden Urn

A large antique garden urn on a panelled base, the urn bowl boldly modelled with a foliate rim (urn diameter 30"). It is made from composition stone and is similar to the ornaments produced in the innovative workshop run by Austin and Seeley in the second half of the 19th century. This well weathered urn makes a striking and unusual garden feature.

NB Both urn and base have suffered various losses and damages from neglect over the years but remain structurally sound.
