Large Antique Sandstone Urn

An antique sandstone urn from Yorkshire, the campana shaped urn on a square plinth on a round base. All of the component parts are permanently fixed together with a drainage hole through the centre to make a single item which is ideal as a feature urn or centrepiece. The lower half of this urn is a replacement which has been carved from a matching York type stone and has rapidly weathered to a similar colour and patination as the rest.
