An antique lead water pump with two outlets and the maker's name and date on the front reading 'H. Jenkins. Plummer. 1794'. This pump was probably originally housed within a wooden frame which supported the iron handle and the internal plumbing. It has more detail on the front than is usual, normally it was only the front of the square box around the outlet which was decorated since that was all that was visible. It is an attractive feature in its own right but could also be reused as part of a circulating water feature.
Late 18th Century.
